TALES FROM THE LOOP is a kind of alternative history setting. Technological and scientific breakthroughs in the 1950’s change the course of history and as we pick up in this fictional 1980’s setting where our protagonists, Kids, deal with robots who roam the countryside, special vehicles that can hover, strange and fantastic technologies, all the while normal life is just as mundane as you can recall growing up.
THE MYSTERY LANDSCAPE transforms Tales From The Loop into a sandbox domain with bizarre areas, energizing animals and developments, and individuals with questionable plans. Players, and their characters, are free to explore the landscape as they see fit. A few existing mysteries are being used to warm up the campaign but the campaign will turn more player-led as we explore the published Mystery Landscape from Free League’s Tales From The Loop.

Tales From The Loop
A variation of Free League’s Year Zero Engine based on the art book by Simon Stålenhag of the same name. In this game Kids are presented with Trouble to overcome and it’s played out in scenes much like the media that the setting takes inspiration from.
