Mage: the Ascension

Reality exists, that I’m sure we can mostly agree on. But the reality that the dreamers (the normal people) have decided upon is not the same reality as yours or mine. For sure it’s the default, and any changes tend to result in a bit of backlash but here and there a gifted person can push and stretch and occasionally break reality to wherever they need it.

Our group consists of just these sorts of people, mages as they are known, although they may not think of themselves that way. Tricksters, soldiers, those in tune with the tune of life, druids, all are welcome here, far from the factionalism and politics of normal mage life. Life isn’t always simple, after all, what are a group of mages to do when they discover that their apartment block is actually a place of power and that a shady corporation has bought it and intends to demolish it?

A tale of wild magic, creativity, the supernatural, and a group of concerned citizens battling the shady corporations of the world.

If you had the power of a god, what would you do with it? And what would it do to you? That question provides the heart of Mage: the Ascension, a World of Darkness game about reality on the brink of change. Players take on the roles of people who have Awakened to their innate power to change the world. That rare gift forces them to confront their place in that world, and to face other people who might not be as kind or careful about the things they do.
